I have changed the layout of the main page a bit, by introducing 'Featured article' and 'Featured picture' sections. Do let me know if you have any feedback regarding this. Please also suggest how we can call 'Featured article' and 'Featured picture' in Konkani.

With inputs from Vaishali Parab, I have changed it to 'म्हयन्याचो लेख' and 'म्हयन्याचें चित्र' on मुखेल पान. This means that we are supposed to change it every month. This can be done by editing these two templates: प्रारूप:Featured article and प्रारूप:Featured picture.
