My name is Gerhard Josef Eichmann, hence -gje as a suffix to the names of my photos. I was born in 1951 in Rodalben in southwest Germany. I studied in Mainz and spent my working life in Baden-Baden at Südwestfunk / Südwestrundfunk. The main focus of my activities in Wikimedia and Wikipedia is uploading my own photos and the illustration of pages in the Wikipedia of the various languages.

Mein Name ist Gerhard Josef Eichmann, daher -gje als Suffix an den Namen meiner Fotos. Geboren bin ich 1951 in Rodalben im Südwesten Deutschlands. In Mainz habe ich studiert, in Baden-Baden beim Südwestfunk / Südwestrundfunk verbrachte ich mein Arbeitsleben. Schwerpunkte meiner Aktivitäten in Wikimedia und Wikipedia sind das Hochladen eigener Fotos und die Bebilderung von Seiten in den Wikipedien der verschiedenen Sprachen.
